We believe a farmer in Barabanki or a young woman in Ranchi should not have to navigate dozens of portals and intermediaries to access the schemes, services and opportunities that already exist for them. Our mission is to turn every government scheme, every market opportunity and every essential service into a single conversation in the citizen's own language.
What makes us different
The assistant exists to serve the citizen, never to push a product. Every conversation begins and ends with the person, not a catalogue.
The platform is built voice first, picture led and works on an entry level smartphone over patchy mobile networks.
We collaborate openly with government, financial institutions, healthcare providers and educators while remaining accountable to the citizen alone.
Every BSVN identity belongs to the citizen. Sharing data, asking for help and revoking consent are all a single tap away.
Governance
BSVN is built and operated by a not for profit company under the JanMangal Foundation. Oversight rests with a board that brings together rural development practitioners, technologists and elected panchayat representatives. Our code is open, our audits are public and our progress is reported every quarter on the Impact page.
